​​​​​​​​​​​​​At the beginning of the 20th century, an establishment that would mark an era in the city and throughout the south of the state was opened in Laguna - Santa Catarina, the traditional Café Tupy. The place was the stage and witness to the social, economic and political transformations of Laguna society. Its democratic corner became a geographical point of reference and, for many years, people met there to have good drinks, smoke cigarettes and chat. More than 100 years have passed and Tupy is (re)born, bringing the same joy as before, re-telling a story of gastronomy, art and people who appreciate the best, the now.
